Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What Can I Expect When I Visit?
A: From the first moment you arrive, you will experience the welcoming atmosphere that is Parkside. As you drive into our parking area, you will notice that you have the option of driving under our porte cochere to drop off any family members, especially during those rainy and snowy days. For those needing special assistance, a member of our welcome team is ready to help.
Upon entering the building, another member of our welcome team will greet you at the door. If you need nursery care or want your child to participate in one of our excellent preschool and elementary age children's classes, you will be invited to go to our children's ministry check-in center where a children's team member will be happy to assist you. There, your child will be assigned a unique identification number. If your child needs you during the service, their number will appear on the video screens throughout the church. When the service ends, you'll use the tag you received at check-in to pick your child up.
Parkside offers a friendly, casual service that lasts about an hour. The music is live, exciting and moving. There is a special time for the kids to talk with Pastor Paul before being escorted by the children's team members to their classes. The message, which comes directly from the Bible, is inspiring, thought provoking, humorous and enjoyable. Most of all, it helps you live your everyday life. All of this, combined with the support of our excellent audio and video technology, makes for a service you will look forward to week after week.
After the service, you can hang out by the fireplace or at the coffee shop for refreshments and conversation, visit our welcome center for more information about the church, meet the pastor and his family, and talk with other people like yourself.
Q: Is Parkside Church affiliated with anyone?
A: Yes. Parkside Church is proud to be a part of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC), which is a rapidly growing multi-ethnic denomination in North America with ministries on five continents of the world. Q: What else should I know before I visit that's not on this website?
A: By now, we hope that you have enough information to come and experience Parkside in person. But one final insight may help. Please know that you can come as you are and that you are welcome even before you walk in the door. When you visit, you will discover that the people who have made Parkside their church home are genuine, friendly, and like to laugh. Most of all, what you will experience is a church that has a sincere desire to grow closer to God and is making a real difference in people's lives. We hope to see you soon!
